Day 29 — Hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days

♥ Hopes: Abroad for uni (though I highly doubt it) and happy in the course I'll be in (hopefully), Singapore trip with my awesome friends! yeah.. hopes so far.

♥ Dreams: happiness in everything: relationships (love, family, friends), health, spirituality, education, career, finance etc.

♥ Plans: I'm done with planning, too many expectations shattered, so I'm not planning anything. Just, going with the flow really. ^_^

Day 26 — Your week, in great detail

My week? Well, this week barely started since it's only Wednesday. But I shall tell you what I've done so far:

1. Monday - ate at a japanese restaurant, Tomokazu, for dinner.
2. Tuesday - ate at my aunt's (Belinda/Kian EE) place for dinner, last one for my dad, sent him to the airport, hugged and was kissed on the cheek 3 times. I miss my daddy! :'(
3. Wednesday - just got back from swimming at Stanley Park! so many people! but thank goodness I wasn't sunburnt! :D

Day 27 — This month, in great detail

I've been spending my summer in a country that I believe is AWESOME! 'Nuff said. ;)

Day 28 — This year, in great detail

Well, so far, it's pretty good. The only difference from other years (except for 4 years ago) is that I've came back to Canada for the summer :) and this year, I've loved, lost and gained. That's all I'm going to say.

I don't think I love a film which everyone hates, though if it was the other way round, as in I hate but everyone loves, is Twilight.. but then again, I don't hate the film, I was disappointed with the outcome. :/

Inception! :( I heard it's REALLY good.

Day 28 — Favourite film from your favourite director

I don't really have a favourite director so I don't have an answer for this. Sorry. :/

I know there's a song that I wish I could play.. but atm, I can't put my finger on it! D: .. OH! "That's All" by Michael Buble on the piano! another song would be "Yellow" (Jem Cover) by Coldplay on the piano too. Yep! I remember now! :P

Day 28 — A song that makes you feel guilty

Guilty? Mm... I'd have to say any songs from 3OH!3 actually. I mean, the music is awesome I think, but the lyrics.. yeaaaah.

Day 25 — Your day, in great detail

11:10PM :- My day eh? Well, I woke up around the afternoon since I slept pretty late yesterday since yesterday was so awesome (referring to my previous post :P) that my energy was drained up so. :P Later on, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and went downstairs to eat my breakfast (but technically 'lunch') -- favourite chinese dish: Lao Shu Fen! yums! (: and then, some of my relatives were over. My grandma told me I had to take care of Sushi (my aunt's dog) since she and the others were going to the hospital to visit my grandpa (I hope he's okay :/ he's still in the hospital), along with my siblings, and then everyone went out, including my parents. so it was just us and Sushi! :D I went online, talked to Saf :), and then my aunt (Xiao Q Niong) told me to get ready because Paul QQ was gonna come to fetch us and I was unaware 'EH? where are we going? O_O' and then she told me 'to attend a wedding dinner!' and then I just recalled a wedding was held this afternoon so. Congrats to the newly wedded couple, Will and Grace, btw! :) and I just came back. The wedding dinner was beautiful, a lot of pink though: pink cake, pink bride's maids' dresses, pink ties for the best men, pink flowers and decorations. so cute! :P the main course was good: steak! :D and the wedding's programme was good too (: thanks Uncle Paul for driving us back home! :)

Day 25 - The most hilarious film you’ve ever seen

I can't remember which film I laughed the most so according to previous posts, it seems that '17 Again' was :P

Mm.. I can't think of one actually. I don't think I've ever laughed when listening to a song. Probably, maybe, inside jokes related to a song? but yeah, can't think of any. Sorry. :(

I just came back from my aunt's (Celina EE) place and ZOMG! 'AVATAR' on Blu-Ray was SO AWESOME! :O I love the narrative (seriously! I love it! all to do with spirituality! and romance! lovelove!), the graphics (ZOMG THE GRAPHICS I DON'T EVEN--), the blu-ray-ness! SO CLEAR!!! D: and and! Karaoke NEVER gets old! It was so fun! :D :D I sang, along with my cousin, Leslie: 'Say My Name', 'Truly Madly Deeply', 'The Scientist' and more. My favourite solo singing sessions was 'We Are The World' (MJ) and 'White Flag' (Dido)! :D and oh! the food! I loved it too! yummy stuff! :D and and! new recipe! '7up + juice = AWESOME'! :D thanks so much for tonight, Li EE! :)

Uh. Do I look like a person with awesome ideas? HAHAHA. but then again, I've thought of narrative ideas to film if I become a director, or a screenplay writer. I know I've brainstormed (in my head) once or twice, but I forgot now. XD

Oh wow. We can have songs played in funerals? I didn't know that XD. but uh, a hymn that relates to someone passing away/leaving this world would do. :)

Mm.. I can't think of one atm. But I'd like more people to watch a film that has a ethical narrative and moral to it, a film that appreciates the unappreciated and a film that would open people's eyes about the world and on what's really happening. Yup! I just can't think of one that suits this description.. maybe next time. XD

Day 14 — A non-fictional book

14,000 Things to Be Happy About by Barbara Ann Kipfer. It's basically a long list of things in a book that has made her happy. I was at Best Eastern when I first saw this book, did a few flicks and I could relate to some. I'd love to make my own '### things to be happy about' book of my own some day; for my personal keeping and for inspiration/hope to others who read them. :)

Day 07 — A photo that makes you happy

look at this little fella! :) we first found him in the bowl of grapes when we were at the dining table of my aunt's (Kian EE) house. Too bad he ain't red :/ but it's okay! I picked it up and decided to put him back outside. No idea on how he got into the bowl but oh well. This photo makes me happy because ladybugs are one of my favourite bugs (next to butterflies) and little things, even the tiniest creatures, make me happy. :)

Day 07 — The most surprising plot twist or ending

Mm.. surprising.. I know there's a film I know of that has an unexpected unending.. but I can't put my finger on it right now. Sorry :(

Good Morning, Canada!

9:23AM

morning guys! :D (I know it's night time in Brunei but oh well :P) I just came back from a morning jog with my family :) and boy, was the air so good :) it was pretty cold in the beginning but it became warm later on. took so many photos too! the houses we passed by are so gorgeous! taking photos of and gazing at them made me wanna get a house real bad! and and! the park, took photos there too!

first house that caught my eye! so pretty right? :D I love all the houses in Canada, my kind of houses designs actually :) there're more photos I took, but too laaaaazy XD.

and hee! my favourite flower: Lavender! :D

and lookie! a cherry tree! :D

and oh yeah! for those who wanted to know how my grandparent's house looks like, here it is! :D not much to look at, but inside's cosy :D all that matters! they recently moved house so yeah, trying to get used to it. I miss the old house, I had many memories there. :/

anyway, after the walk, my siblings and I rested in front of the house and I smelt food. I was like "FEED ME! IWANFOOD! D:" and I thought it was from the neighbours, but when we went in, I found out that it was my grandma! she cooked ham and eggs for us, for breakfast :D so yummy!

and I ate a cookie too from the cookies we bought from SuperStore yesterday :)

just got back from being out everywhere. :P anyway, I'm going to let the photos do the story-telling for me :)

I saw this lovely top, colourful stars all over, just had to buy it!

wanted to get these two tops but they were more expensive ($12) than the one I bought ($9) so not worth it I guess. oh well~

after ze shopping, my other relatives brought us and treated us breakfast here, and let me tell you, the food here is DEEEELICIOUS! :D

meet Vinci :) he's one of my adorable nephews :)

later on, we went to a mall (didn't ask what name it was but I know it's in Metro Town) and went into, I think it was called, 'Pet Habitat' and saw lots of cuties! puppies, fishies, birds and kitties! (the photo above)! squealed so much when I was in there. ^^"

and look Britt! I wanted to buy these two shirts for the both of us, 'cause it reminded me of the "Perfect Two" song! but the shirt size was small :(( but so adorable yes?! :)))

and look! ice-cream flavoured/coloured teddies! :D so adorable!

get a Starbucks latte/any drink from Starbucks!

and when we were on the way to the car, my sister spotted a car having the letters "aww" in its licence plate. heh, cool. :)

"Dear John" by Nicholas Sparks. I know I've blogged about it ages ago, way before the film began filming, but it still is my favourite book. I'm a sucker for films/books which consist true love so :) for those who STILL haven't read it, I suggest you get your butt off and go buy it D: it's one of the best books I've ever read.

"Becoming Jane", yes, it made me cry so much after! ): I hated that guy, the one who RUINED everything. I'd shoot him with my bazooka if he was real and alive.
