Only 0.37% of the Earth’s water is drinkable.
We ALL need water to live.
Here are some ways to conserve water:
- Collect the water you use for rinsing fruits and vegetables and/or the water you didn't finish, then reuse it to water houseplants.
- Shorten your shower by a minute or two and you'll save up to 150 gallons per month.
- Turn off the water while brushing your teeth and washing your hair, and save 175 gallons a month.
- To save water
and time, consider washing your face or brushing your teeth (or both!) while in the shower.
- If you accidentally drop ice cubes when filling your glass from the freezer, don't throw them in the sink. Drop them in a house plant instead.
