after stumbling on one of the sites I regularly browse in,
1000 Awesome Things, I decided to do my very own Awesome Thing!
#1 My mum's Love
(in addition to: link)1) unexpected surprises whenever I have friends over for a sleepover, I'm either watching films with them, IM-ing with them to other friends + webcam, taking photos, playing computer/card games, eating midnight snacks or anything – all downstairs, till late at night and when everyone else, family, are fast asleep.
when it's time to head upstairs to my room because we're tired, I find that everything’s set and prepared: my room's air-con has been switched on, the night light is on, extra mattresses are provided for my friends, and the room's already cold (just the way I like it). Knowing that my mum did all of this for me and my friends before she slept, it's awesome!
2) spontaneous 'mother and daughter' hangouts she suddenly asking me whether I want to accompany her to go out, to shop, run errands etc.
3) her making my day after having a bad day, she tells me that she bought me: my favourite drink and/or food, clothes, cute stuffs, and/or that my favourite meal is ready for lunch; when my mum makes my day – it’s awesome!
