CNY's in
3 days :) and I'm looking forward to it!
Fireworks at midnight, driving around the neighbourhood
with my cousins at midnight,
sleeping over at my niece's place, spending quality time with my
family & relatives. :D and the
$$$ (hong paos), the eating and the gaining weight due to delicious food provided in open houses, yada yada yada. Fun! :)
Also, it's actually a pity that a lot of places (I know of: in Gadong, but not in my place thank goodness, and Berakas) still don't have electricity and water for days ): I heard that ISB didn't have current = no school! But ever since it's been raining/pouring for the couple of days, my house was fine.. except that I didn't have my phone lines working but clearly, it does now (since I'm online!) JIS has been fine with electricity running in all classrooms. I felt guilty for having electricity cause some of my friends had to stay over other people's houses (with electricity) so they could take a shower, wash their uniforms etc. :/ and also many stores (SupaSave, Hua Ho etc) didn't have electricity and all the stocks and items on the shelves, especially the frozen food that needed electricity to maintain, had to be cleared, to be thrown away :( and that all the stuff for the preparations for CNY aren't available :( predicted profit all down the drain and unexpected losses gained :(
and I didn't have to go through all that trouble.. I just hope the issue is resolved soon. :/
Anyway.. when I get to KB, I'll be drawing something to represent CNY very
very soon. So stay tuned to find out ;)
