Hello fellow blog-readers. :o) I'm
SO GLAD (no, seriously!) that I finally went out with my friends. You have
no (I mean,
NO) idea how long I have been waiting for this day. I'm serious! The day of my prom night, which was on June the 13th, last month obviously (don't believe me?
click here.), was the last time (not including today, of course.) I got to see my friends. The last hangout/outing with my friends was June the 11th. No kidding :( I have evidence!
That’s right, since Kung Fu Panda came out! No joke. :(
I've been missing LOTS of outings and even my bestf couldn't take it. I'm serious! Every time a hangout was organized, she'd call me up to inform me. But every time she does, she'd end up yelling (not a pleasant sound to my ears btw ^^') and say, "WHAAAT? BUT IT'S THE HOLIDAYS! WHY NOT?!" Well, I would elaborate on why I didn't turn up but that's not important now caaaaause, I went out today and I had fun. ^^
We (Britt, Hani, Val and I) watched "The Dark Knight" a.k.a Batman. It was good Good GOOOD! *three thumbs up!* I recommend you to watch it soon! :D It's such a good movie. Loved it! :D The Joker's cwaaayzee. ^^ But the actor who played him, Heath Andrew Ledger, isn't crazy lah, he was SO GOOD! But it's a real pity that he passed away so suddenly. :'( He was one of the gorgeous actors I really liked! He looked sizzling in "A Knight's Tale." ^^ I, even the drama-talented people I know, no offence, couldn't pull it off. Acting as fwueek Joker, eeeurgh-ly laughing at things which aren't exactly funny, constantly licking his lips and just plain crazy?, isn't actually easy and comfortable to act as. I'd end up looking like freak myself. :l Yeaaaa. But everything else of the movie is reaaaaaaaaally good! :) Go watch it. :D
After watching the mind-blowing movie, we met up with Shu Khim, Tash, Jo and her bf at Pizzaaaaa Hut.
Afterwards, we went to the food court and eat :D Britt and I ate the SCR & Hani and Val ate Jolibee food. The chicken rice is DELICIOUS. :) So good that I doubled the sup. What? It's really good wah. Couldn't help it. ^^ Also, the sup's free. So why not right? ;P After eating a delicious meal, Hani and Val had to go. So, it was just Britt and I. We went to the arcade, since we didn't have anything better to do and Kbox-ed. We sang "Pretty Boy" – one of my favourite songs by M2M. Yeap. :D
After that, we went to "Shabby Chic" and I thought, while gazing at the preeeetty things sold, 'Why didn't I notice this shop before?' The items were SO PRETTY! Rub-on stickers, deco, designed & crafted paper, all so pretty! If I was bloated with cash, I’d buy the whole shop. Honest! Everything in there was phat!
After the gazing and staring, we headed to one of the CD shops, the orange oneXD, and OH-EM-GEE! When Britt mentioned that, "They have 'Camp Rock.'" It took a sec for me to realize that it's the
JONAS BROTHERS' movie, joeeee x)! WHEE HEEHEE! *blushes* I immediately rushed to where the DVD was placed and stared at it and gently grabbed it from it’s previous place, still having my eyes mesmerized on it. Eye-ing and observing every detail of the DVD (esp JOE!) I squealed and squealed. EEEEE! X) ..I'm really sorry :( I'm a die-hard fan of Joseph Adam Jonas. He's just so irresistibly sizzling and did I mention, hot? teeeheeeeeeeee! ^^ He completely melts me from top to bottom. Hahahaha! I know :( I’m such a girl. Do forgive me for my girly behaviour. :( I just can't help how he makes me feel whenever I see his captivating self. Despite the length of his hair, he still looks good. X)
After the squealing and eeeeee-ing, we headed to "Best Eastern" (Chung Tee's shop :D), and checked out the cooking books. To be exact, the Japanese ones – SUSHI :D Britt and I have a huge craving for sushi. So we were looking through the instructions in making some. After reading words and turning pages, Britt had to go home.
I, on the other hand, waited for my family to pick me up and we WERE supposed to go to 'Fun Wok' where Javier works but we didn't! :( Instead we ended up eating at the Mall, Bann Nucha, a Thai restaurant, and boy! It was sourly-saltily-spicily appetizing! I recommend you to try out the food there if you’re interested in Thai dishes. :D I would show you the mouth-watering dishes we ate, but due to my poor memory, I forgot to bring my camera. :( My apologies.
After being famished, we watched a wee-bit of the fireworks display from Rizkun hotel. It’s a shame it was raining and we weren't as near as we should be to the fireworks, but my mom wanted to buy some groceries anyway.
That’s about it, I guess.
Good night. :)
