hello peeps :D been quite a while since I've actually blogged; last time was about how much work I had to do for school.
anyway! yesterday, Britt, Tina, Joven and I hanged out at the Mall (well, they arrived at 12+ while I came around 3+ since I had church from 2-3) and watched this dumbfounding film 'Surrogates', based on the 2005–2006 'The Surrogates' comic book series. Dunno what it means? It means, according to Dictionary.com,
1. One that takes the place of another; a substitute.
2. A person or animal that functions as a substitute for another, as in a social or family role.
What's this movie about?
Set in a futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots, a cop (Willis) is forced to leave his home for the first time in years in order to investigate the murders of others’ surrogates.
I personally think that this movie's moral is very effective. However, I don't wanna spoil it for those who are going to watch it.
After a long day, it was time to go home! I only spent $6 (for the movie) and $2.80 (for food+drink!) :D I'm so proud of myself for not spending as much as I could have. Thank you for the thought of belanja-ing me, Britt! but look at the bright side, you saved money. ^^
